Noah's Ark Book Attic has been in business since 1954 providing used and antiquarian books on most subjects, specialising in theology. In late 2002 we relocated to beautiful downtown Tryon, North Carolina where we now handle mostly antiquarian books. Now, in our 64th year, we have decided it is time to sell our inventory and, ultimately, close the store. Consequently, our store inventory is available for sale at 30% ciscount, in store only. We will be open limited hours, so by a telephone call or email message, we can arrange appointments to see our books. In the meantime, our on-line inventory will continue as in the past.
Terms: Payment for books may be made by credit card (Visa/MasterCard), PayPal (email@example.com), money order or check on a US bank.
Returns: We try to describe our books fully and accurately, but anything purchased from us is fully returnable for any reason for full refund, including postage if the return is due to our mistake. While we ask that you try to make a return within 10 days of receipt, please do inquire if that is not possible.
Shipping: All books shipped upon receipt of payment. Domestic US orders are normally shipped via Media Mail. We offer Priority services for both domestic and international orders. Please note, all Priority envelopes are limited to 4 pounds and some larger books may not fit within these envelopes. Please inquire for books too heavy or large for Priority envelopes, including multi-volume sets of books. We will reduce shipping for some items, including multiple pamphlets if they can be combined in one parcel. In addition, many pamphlets can be sent First Class for similar prices. Please let us know if you have specialized shipping requirements -- we'll do our best to serve your needs.
Sitting in the picture is Noah himself, a bookseller since 1944 when, as a thirteen year old boy, he took over management of the book department of the family antique business. He is always willing to help with identifying or evaluating your books. There is no charge for this service but he can only do this when the books are brought here. Noah does not search for books for customers, or provide special ordering, but he will be glad to help you do your own search if you have access to a computer.
